PAY: £90 - £110

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:30-3:30

 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and work with our Year 4 students. Based in the heart of Kensington, our school provides a nurturing and dynamic environment where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our students' growth and helping them reach their full potential.

The Year 4 class is full of motivated and curious learners, and we are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to help support and guide them in their educational journey. You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure that all students have the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons for Year 4 students.
• Support students on an individual or small group basis, particularly those who need extra help.
• Help with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials and resources.
• Provide targeted support for students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
• Assist with classroom management and ensure a positive, productive learning environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to both students and teachers.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their personal and academic development.
• Support the class teacher with administrative tasks as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

• A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
• Experience working with primary school-aged children, particularly in Year 4.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for helping children succeed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of all students.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and an understanding of the needs of primary school students.
