Job Vacancy: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Haringey
Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent
Start Date: February Half Term

Pay Rate: MPS/UPS Outer London

 

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Year 1 teacher to join our team and contribute to the development of our wonderful students starting Feb half term.

OFSTED rated GOOD school, mainstream primary school in Haringey, N10

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that follow the Curriculum for Year 1
• Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to help children reach their full potential
• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independent learning and curiosity

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting the development of young children

 

Desirable:

• Experience in differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL
• Knowledge of effective strategies for supporting literacy and numeracy development in Year 1
• Familiarity with current educational trends and best practices
